1. About Our Services

Skaros provides marketing and communications services, including website design, build, and maintenance; brand messaging; public relations; design and creative work; advertising; and social media strategy.

Client services are governed by a separate signed agreement. Nothing on this Site is an offer, quote, or contract. All services are quoted in writing and provided only under a signed Website Services Agreement (or other written agreement) between Skaros and the client. If you are a Skaros client, your signed agreement — not these Terms — governs our work together.

2. Using This Site

You may use this Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or related accounts
• Interfere with the Site’s operation or security
• Use the Site to transmit anything unlawful, misleading, or harmful
• Copy, scrape, or reproduce Site content for commercial use without our written permission

3. Payments

Client payments are processed through Stripe via the Customer Payment Portal linked in the footer of this Site. Skaros does not collect or store your payment card information — payment processing is handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy practices.

4. Intellectual Property

The content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, and design — belongs to Skaros LLC or its licensors and is protected by law. Client work shown in our portfolio is displayed with permission and remains subject to the respective clients’ rights. You may not use the Skaros name, logo, or Site content without our written consent.

5. No Warranties

This Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Information on this Site is general in nature, may change without notice, and is not legal, financial, or professional advice. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Third-Party Links and Tools

This Site may link to or integrate third-party websites and services (such as Stripe or social media platforms). We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skaros LLC and its members, managers, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site. Our total liability relating to your use of this Site will not exceed $100. This section does not limit any rights you have under a signed client agreement or that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Michigan law. Any dispute relating to this Site must be brought exclusively in Michigan state or federal court, and you waive any objection to Michigan as the venue.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
